Surya’s latest OTT release ‘Jai Bhim’ has officially entered the race for Golden Globe awards.
Surya’s jai Bhim released last month. The movie became a raging hit across the country with several celebrities and big personalities coming forward to praise the movie. The movie talked about the justice for the oppressed community who get falsely committed into a case they have nothing to do with. The making was gritty and realistic supported by terrific performances and impressive techinicalities. The movie also garnered hate from certain community who had no job but to pick on the movie entirely forgetting the thing the movie is trying to say.
Being so, the latest update about the movie is that it has officially entered the race for Golden Globe awards. The movie is currently filed under the nomination for ‘Best Non-English Film’. The movie also surpassed the record hit of IMDb rating of Hollywood’s superhit films ‘The Shawshank Redemption’ and ‘The Godfather’ and is now rated at 9.6.
We will need to wait and see if the movie goes the distance in the Golden Globe awards. Regardless, it’s fair to say the movie has created a lasting remark on our people which is equal or rather better than any award it can get.
