Suriya acted and produced the movie 'Jai Bhim' in 2021. The movie released in amazon prime and went on to become one of the biggest hits as the entire country lauded the movie. The film talked about oppression against tribal people and power misuse of police department. Along with the appreciation, there were some issues faced by the movie team from certain community. Regardless, the movie became one of the most talked about and celebrated movie of 2021.
Being so, the film continues to soar high. The latest feat being being featured in Oscars YT channel. Yesterday morning, a 12 minute video came out that had the director Tha. Se Gnanavel explains how caste discrimination dwells deep and tribes are being suppressed by upper caste people.
