A businessman has alleged that shilpa Shetty's father Surendra Shetty wanted to repay some amount to her in 2017 with interest. He mentioned in the complaint that till 2015, shilpa shetty, Shamita and Sunanda Shetty have not repaid the loan taken by Surendra Shetty.
Shilpa's father had taken a loan from this businessman at the age of 18 on the basis of interest payable every year. But after the death of her father, Shilpa, Shamita and their mother refused to repay the loan. This allegation was made by the professionals in their complaint.
Shilpa's mother has been granted bail by a dark court in the case. Metropolitan Magistrate RR Khan had earlier issued summons to shilpa shetty, sister shamita shetty and Sunanda Shetty in a fraud case.
But the summons was challenged by shilpa shetty and her family in the Sessions Court. Justice A.Z. Khan stayed the order passed by the Metropolitan Magistrate against shilpa shetty and her sister Shamita Shetty.
However, Shilpa's mother was not relieved. Shilpa's father Surendra Shetty and mother Sunanda Shetty were both partners in the company in which the loan was taken.
The court said that as there was no evidence that shilpa and Shamita were partners in the case, it was clear that they had nothing to do with the loan.
