Elizabeth Olsen replies to speculations that the MCU may produce a standalone film about the Scarlet Witch. The actor most recently appeared in doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, reprising her role as the terrible villain Scarlet Witch, who would do anything to get hold of America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) so she could gain access to her powers and be reunited with her kids. sam Raimi's direction of doctor Strange 2 revealed a terrifying aspect of Wanda Maximoff that had not previously been shown in the MCU.

Wanda has been a complex character in the MCU ever since her series debut in 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron. She has frequently walked the border between good and evil, but with doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, she was turned into a wholly antagonistic force. Because of how prominently Olsen's portrayal of the Scarlet Witch was in that movie, many people have started to speculate about the possibility of a standalone film for the strong and wealthy character. Last year, Scarlet Witch co-starred in the Disney+ series WandaVision, but given the ending of doctor Strange 2, it is obvious there could be much more to her story.

Olsen addresses reports that her character would get a solo MCU movie as well as those that claim she'll be in the upcoming Disney+ series Agatha: house of Harkness in a recent appearance on Good Morning America. Olsen plays things close to her chest, as is customary with Marvel celebrities.
