With the 1978 blockbuster Punadhirallu, chiranjeevi made his acting debut. He then went on to star in a number of high-profile telugu movies, the majority of which were commercial successes. He has received many honours and distinctions over the course of a career spanning more than four decades, including 10 Filmfare Awards and 4 Nandi Awards. The celebrity is currently anticipating the release of two movies: Meher Ramesh's "Bholaa Shankar," a telugu adaptation of the tamil superhit movie "Vedalam," and Bobby's "Walter Veerayya."
