Box office India reports that Bholaa had a slow start during the early shows but did better in larger markets. Bholaa has made over Rs 10 crore thanks to the ram Navami holiday, despite poor performances in Southern regions and big cities like mumbai and Delhi. According to BOI, "Bholaa put up a reasonable first day total of around Rs 10 crore nett plus because of a holiday in some parts of the country and a decent performance in current after a lacklustre advance.
A higher total may be implied by some of the mass circuits, but this is likely to be offset by a smaller proportion of business coming from the South and Maharashtra, which will have low numbers. Outside of Nizam / Andhra, there is no holiday in the South, but that had a significant municipal release.
