Reportedly apart from acting vishal also runs a production company. The actor cum producer earlier got a loan for his production venture, and his failure to repay the loan made him land into controversy. Now, the madras high court has a strict warning to Vishal.
Vishal had received a loan of 21 crore 29 lakh rupees from popular film financier Anbuchezhiyan. But lyca productions accepted the loan and paid the amount when they jointly produced a film of vishal along with the actor. In this regard, lyca productions agreed with vishal, and in the agreement, the rights of all films produced by vishal were guaranteed to Lyca until the loan amount was fully repaid. But vishal failed to follow the agreement and sold the rights of 'Veerame Vaagai Soodum' according to his plan.
So, Lyca Production appealed against the actor at the court, and the judge, who heard the case, ordered vishal to deposit Rs 15 crore out of the loan amount of Rs 21.29 crore in the madras High Court. The production house also sought a ban for Vishal's latest release 'Mark Antony' before the film release. But Vishal's lawyer promised to submit the requested document to get the ban revoked.
Vishal then appeared before the judge during the latest hearing. At that time, bank account details, assets, and documents were ordered to be filed, but they were not filed.
