Politicians in maharashtra are not happy with the recent meeting between raj Thackeray, the head of the maharashtra Navnirman Sena, and the bjp leadership. If the negotiations are successful, raj Thackeray's estranged brother uddhav Thackeray—who left the national democratic alliance in 2019—will form an alliance with the bjp in the western state.
 
Raj thackeray met Vinod Tawde of the bjp last week in Delhi. raj Thackeray then met with Union home minister amit shah, sparking rumours of an alliance between the two parties ahead of this year's federal elections and the maharashtra Assembly election.

The meeting between raj Thackeray and Vinod Tawde might lead to a number of opportunities, sources informed india Today TV. One of them is raj Thackeray, who is uniting his party with the shiv sena led by Eknath Shinde and running for office using the party's customary "bow and arrow" insignia. The shiv sena was dissolved due to Eknath Shinde's mutiny, and after the election Commission's decision, the party name and emblem were given to him. Though he enjoys the backing of most MLAs, MPs, and council members, the shiv sena group lead by uddhav thackeray continues to hold the feeling of the 'Marathi manoos'.
