The summer of 2024 is off to a fantastic start with siddhu Jonnalagadda's "Tillu Square," which has quickly amassed a gross of over ₹100 crores. However, if no other film truly succeeds at the box office, it appears like april and May will be empty months. All eyes were on Vijay Devarakonda's Family Star to be the Summer opening at the beginning of april, but the movie hasn't won over the crowd. Next was Kona Venkat's Geethanjali Malli Vachindi, but it didn't work out either. As of this Monday, it appears that the movie won't meet the required minimum occupancy in a lot of cinemas. And then there are films like Vishwaksen's Gangs of Godavari, which is scheduled for release on May 17th, right at the conclusion of the summer vacation. Based on this schedule, there's a good chance telugu Summer won't play in cinemas at all, assuming any flicks manage to pull a miracle at the box office. watch what transpires.
