An attempt has been made to intimidate and suppress a person using machinery. Therefore this case falls in a rare category.
'Many leaders called him a traitor'

Filing a case like this is a misuse of power. uddhav thackeray had also called Eknath Shinde a 'traitor' when he started his election campaign in 2024. No one filed an FIR then. But when a stand-up artist spoke, objection was taken to it. If you are a public figure, you will be criticized. You cannot curb anyone's freedom of expression.
Kunal Kamra ready to cooperate
The lawyer said on behalf of Kunal Kamra in the court, "My comment was made in a humorous manner. He was laughing at it and the citizens present there were also laughing. It was a humorous statement. Kunal has been saying from the first day that he is ready to cooperate with the police. But the police is asking him to appear physically. Kunal had responded to the first summons on the second day itself. He is ready to appear for questioning through video conferencing. Because if he comes here, his life may be in danger. After this incident, many people have threatened to kill him. We have also responded to every summons of the police. In news reports, Kamra has been threatened with death and mutilation." The lawyer said that in 2023, ajit pawar had also said for Shinde that we will have to teach this 'traitor' a lesson.
