Why did you sign Bigg Boss 19
When Amaal was asked why he said yes to Bigg Boss. To this, he said, 'I was very excited to say yes to this show. I have been in the industry for 10 years. I think people have always misunderstood me whenever I talk about the reality of Bollywood.'
He further said, 'I was not affected by the loss of work. Whenever I was removed from a film and I did not get the right vibe, I stepped back. When 2-3 big producers removed me from a film, I happily went on a holiday. I do not take such things to heart.'
Amaal also said that he wants people to recognize him. Amaal said that people often mistake him for some other celeb.

Amaal said, 'I want people who have been listening to my music for 10 years to know me. I want my face to be associated with my music and the work I have done. people should know that this is Amaal Malik, not armaan malik or Aditya Roy Kapoor. people often mistake me for Aditya Roy Kapoor. If I grow a beard, people mistake me for arjun Kapoor. When I lose weight, some people confuse me with Vicky Kaushal, and if I grow my hair, people mistake me for Ranveer Singh. There is a lot of confusion.'
Amaal said, 'They know my music but not my habits, vibe, and what I think. What is shown in the media is sometimes a different image. I want to show my identity without anger and fight.'
