Why manish Sisodia's judicial control keep growing?P-1

The judicial custody of former delhi deputy cm manish Sisodia has been extended for 14 days in the delhi Liquor Policy case. Sisodia was produced before Special Judge MK Nagpal at Delhi's Rouse Avenue court on Monday, where on the request of the CBI, the court ordered Sisodia to be kept in judicial custody till april 17.

This is the fourth time when the court has extended the custody of Sisodia. Let us know why Sisodia's judicial custody is being extended again and again.

On behalf of the CBI, the Public Prosecutor argued in the court that the investigation is at a critical juncture. That's why the agency needs more time to interrogate Sisodia. He sought extension of the remand for two weeks. Which was opposed by manish Sisodia's lawyer. He said that nothing specific has been done by the CBI, which warrants continuation of his custody.

On behalf of Sisodia's lawyer, it was said that there is nothing in the records of the former deputy cm that he was threatening the witnesses. He argued that Sisodia has always cooperated in the investigation of all the investigating agencies and no incriminating material was found from his house even during the searches. In such a situation, there is no point in furthering his custody. After hearing arguments from both sides, the court extended Sisodia's judicial custody till april 17.
