In a small village of UP, We meet a farmer Hori Lal (70) who is not concerned about himself, but more concerned about his family comprising 3 sons, their wives, and his 10 grandchildren. Lal who lives in Barabanki's Tindwani village says, "We are in trouble if one of our family members falls sick.

There is no money. Even though we are 20 Km away from Lucknow, due to improper infrastructure, roads, and power we are unable to move. " Hori Lal has taken a loan of Rs.70,000 in 2015 and he shows his Kisan Credit Card. He is also a Potential beneficiary of the UP Government's loan waiver.

As UP Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath has promised to waive off the loans, Lal is thinking of taking another loan. Even if another loan is granted to him, it would be a temporary solution but not a permanent solution to the problem of low-income farmers who are plagued by various factors.

The biggest challenge faced by farmers is economy even though they have farming lands to cultivate. They don't find resources to invest.
