All have opinion that both Reddy and SC/ST communities have backed YS Jagan in next general elections. A sudden and unexpected onslaught from Ex-Minister Mareppa gives problems in YSRCP. Mareppa resigned for Congress and joined with YSRCP since its inception. Mareppa is seeking MLA ticket from Kurnool district but fail to assurance from YS Jagan. He lashed out Jagan in caste and community wise. Mareppa compares Jagan with Hitler and Mussolini.
Mareppa said that Jagan has no qualities as son of late YSR. Jagan has ditched YSR followers like Konda Surekha for political interests. Jagan follows use and throw policy on Dalit and Christian communities. Mareppa made open appeal to all SC/ST not to believe YSRCP. Adding to that, Mareppa is ready to campaign against Jagan and his attitude throughout the state. Mareppa went and met YS Jagan on November 29 and requested him for MLA ticket. Jagan asked Mareppa what sacrifice you did for YSRCP. This makes Mareppa very anger on Jagan.
There are allegations on YSRCP that party has given more importance to Reddy Community in Rayalaseema and Prakasam and Nellore districts. All YSRCP tickets in Kurnool district will goes to Reddy Community other than Reserved Nadikotkur. Last week, YSRCP has won one Co-operative Bank election in Kadapa district. There are 16 directors have to be nominated from the party. YSRCP has selected all 16 directors from Reddy Community. This makes inconvenience to Balija community leaders in Kadapa district. Analysts believed giving more importance to Reddy Community may give chance to other communities consolidated against YSRCP.
