Enough is enough. indians are getting absolutely bombarded by spam calls every single day, and somehow it’s become the most ignored national crisis. Fake loan offers, insurance scams, “your Aadhaar is suspended” threats, random OTP frauds — your phone rings non-stop like a malfunctioning alarm that never shuts up.

If you’ve had the same number for years, forget it. Your digits are probably on every shady database in the country. Blocking one number does nothing because they just switch to the next one in seconds. We’ve normalized pure harassment.

- **The Insane Scale**: Over **4,168 crore** spam calls hit indians in 2025 alone. That’s not a typo — billions upon billions of unwanted rings.

- **Old Numbers Are the Worst**: Long-time users get hit hardest. Your decade-old number has leaked everywhere, turning your phone into a 24/7 disturbance machine.

- **Real-Life Damage**: Missing genuine calls because you assume it’s spam. Getting yanked out of meetings, family time, or sleep. Falling for scams that wipe out savings. Constant anxiety and irritation.

- **Zero Accountability**: Telecom companies, regulators, and the government act like it’s a minor inconvenience instead of the daily mental torture it actually is.

This shouldn’t be something we just “live with.” It’s not normal. It’s not acceptable. Our phones have become weapons used against us, and the silence around them is deafening.

At the end of the day, my reaction to this spam call madness is pure frustration and anger, and I have no problem admitting that. I totally understand if some buttoned-up types want to dismiss it as “part of modern life.” But I’m not one of those people. This needs to stop — now. We deserve phones that serve us, not harass us.
