The most important element in Indian political system is caste. Even if the people forget the politicians don’t forget it. They use the caste card to the maximum and win their votes. Even on voters front, the preference is not given to a person who is hardworking and sincere, if he/she is from their caste and community that person should get the votes.
But due to this caste flavor, even a political movement like Telangana got lost. Today, a major conflict is happening on caste grounds. This is between Velama, Reddy and Madiga. KCR is from Velama, Kodhandaram is from Reddy and Mandha Krishna is from Madiga communities.
Till sometime back all three of them were together but in between the caste issue flared up and today three of them are in different directions. Though Kodhandaram and KCR have patched up, inside talk is that few old issues are still pending. In all this, the common man and Telangana region have suffered damage.
