'He used to strangle me in dreams', reveals Indresh Malik…

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's web series 'Hiramandi' has been released on Netflix on May 1. The series is getting mixed reviews from the audience. Meanwhile, Indresh Malik, who played the role of Ustad ji in 'Hiramandi', has shared his experience of working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The actor has also talked about his mood swings during the shooting.

Talking to bollywood Now, Indresh Malik said about mood swings - 'Most people in the creative field are sensitive. I am more sensitive, have mood swings. I try to be happy most of the time and I remain happy. Go there and be told that today you have to cry bitterly, someone has died, there is such a scene. So your mind has to be brought to the point that you do not have to be happy today. This happens and it is part of the profession.

Regarding working with sanjay leela bhansali, Indresh said- 'I worked with sanjay leela bhansali in Gangubai Kathiawadi. It was my cameo. Working out of fear is not something I can do. Being an actor, I am not able to open up. When I went to the set of 'Hiramandi' I said, he used to come in my dreams and strangle me, so I went to him and told him that Sir, you come in my dreams and strangle me.

Shared work experience with Bhansali

Indresh further said- 'He (Sanjay Leela Bhansali) gave me permission to come into a very comfort zone. Allowed me to go into the flow. Gave me permission for my dialogues and improvisation. I am thankful to him for this because it brought confidence and things got in sync. I used to ask him openly, asked 20-25 questions. Have learned a lot from him and will continue to learn so much.
