Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken a big action before the lok sabha elections in Jharkhand. Under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), ED has arrested Alamgir Alam's personal secretary sanjeev kumar Lal and his servant Jahangir Alam. On Monday, ED raided the house of state government's Rural Development minister Alamgir Alam's PS sanjeev Lal and his domestic servant Jahangir Alam, during which a mountain of notes was found in a room. On Monday, ED raided six locations related to the minister, in which a total of Rs 35 crore 23 lakh cash was recovered. ED raided the residence of minister Alamgir Alam's personal secretary sanjeev kumar Lal and his servant Jahangir Alam, two engineers kuldeep Minj and Vikas Kumar and contractor munna Singh. ED recovered Rs 31.20 crore from the Harmu Road flat of minister's personal secretary sanjeev kumar Lal's servant Jahangir Alam.

Bundles were taken in boxes

There was a mountain of notes at Jahangir Alam's house, for which a machine was ordered to count them. 10 big boxes and bags were brought to take them away.
