In the badvel by-election, bjp leaders filed a complaint with General Observer IAS officer Bhishma Kumar, saying that the ycp was breaking the election rules. Somuveerraju, GVL narasimha Rao, cm Ramesh, bjp in-charge sunil Deodhar, national secretary Satyakumar, MLC Madhav, and former minister Adinarayana reddy were among those in attendance. Somu said that our activists were being falsely accused by the YCP.

He claimed he had expressed concern that having elections with the local police would be done unilaterally. He was furious that bjp leaders were intimidating ycp leaders.   Volunteers are attempting to entice and frighten voters, according to reports. He said that the matter had been shared with the Central Electoral Commission in Delhi. He said that the Central election commission must have dispatched 15 paramilitary platoons to respond.

He claimed that in order to hold elections in a free atmosphere, central forces were required. Ministers and MLAs from the ruling party were furious that they were instilling fear in the public. To boost voter confidence, he proposed a march with paramilitary forces. Threats, on the other hand, want to win by causing chaos. That is why ycp ministers, MLAs, as well as leaders, have stated that badvel has been strewn with wickedness. He was furious that voters were being swayed by the volunteer system, and that the election needed to be held in a manner to restore voter faith.
