DGP Sylendrababu has ordered the districts of Ranipettai, Tirupati, Chengalpattu, Mayilaaduthurai, Kallakurichi, and tenkasi to open new police stations. Six new districts were created in tamil Nadu: Ranipettai, Tirupati, Chengalpattu, Mayilaaduthurai, Kallakurichi, and Tenkasi. On september 13, 2021, at the police Grant Request Meeting for the fiscal year 2021-2022, tamil Nadu chief minister MK stalin gave a remark in the Legislative Assembly. In it, he declared that police stores would be established in each of the six newly constituted districts for the benefit of the officers.

As a result, DGP Sylendrababu has directed the concerned district Superintendents of police to choose suitable buildings for the police Store's launch. It has also ordered the signing of a memorandum of understanding with new businesses to supply commodities to the tamil Nadu police Stores. He has already recommended that the firms supplying the tamil Nadu police Canteen's contracts be renewed.

Companies interested in doing business with the tamil Nadu police Stores should download the applications at http://www.tnpolicecanteen.com and then mail the completed applications with all necessary attachments to the police Headquarters. As per reports, already lots of applications have been submitted with respect to the tamil Nadu police Canteens.
