Chennai: As the AIADMK has been in turmoil for the last few days, Sasikala has been writing letters from time to time and taking action. In that line, today (Thursday) Sasikala, the General Secretary of the Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, issued a statement to the volunteers.
According to a statement issued by Sasikala,
This great movement of the AIADMK seemed to oppose injustice and bring down treason. It is a movement born of the hard work and sacrifice of surviving volunteers. Our revolutionary leader, himself a forerunner, is a great movement that has overcome many obstacles and hindrances.
So are the revolutionaries. Despite many trials and tribulations, they have remained steadfast in their commitment to various forms of repression.
My life journey continues at this moment with the principle that I have dedicated every moment of my life to the growth and success of our movement and to the principle that our first duty is to protect the League and its volunteers from falling prey to the machinations of political opponents.
No one can deny that the AIADMK has always been a movement for simple volunteers and has become the third-largest party in the country.
But, looking at the situation today, the hearts of every volunteer are pounding when they think that this is why our two great leaders worked tirelessly to save the party by sweating their own blood.
