Russia-Ukraine War: A dog made a 'hero' in the war, Zelensky honored Since the start of the war, Patron has sniffed 200 explosives and prevented them from detonating.

Ukraine's President Zelensky has awarded a medal to Ukraine's two-year-old dog Patron and Patron's owner - Major in the Civil Protection Service, Mikhail Ilyev, amidst the ongoing war with Russia. Patron is respected for sniffing landmines.

According to Reuters, this dog, honored on Sunday, belongs to a small Jack Russell Terrier breed, which has been active since the war between Russia-Ukraine on february 24.

Jalensky gave this medal when a conference was going on in Kyiv with Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau. Zelensky said,

Even before this, a video of Patron was posted on Facebook, in which it was seen that so far 90 bombs have been searched and cleaned with the help of Patron. Since the start of the war, it has detected about 90 bombs.

“Today I would like to pay respect to all the heroes of ukraine who are clearing our land. Our heroes are accompanied by a cute little soldier – Patreon. It not only helped prevent the bombings, but our children Teach the rules of safety in areas prone to landmines.
