Persons belonging to Thiruvannamalai, Vellore, Tirupattur, Ranipet, Villupuram, Kallakurichi, Chennai, Cuddalore kanchipuram and Thiruvallur districts in tamil Nadu can register their application on army Recruitment website by march 15. There will be two rounds of exams for recruitment. In the preliminary examination, a computer-based written test will be conducted at the examination centers. Candidates will be selected through physical aptitude test and sports test, for which educational qualifications 10th class, 12th class, ITI only diploma will be additional qualifications.
The director announced that the written test will be held only in english and hindi, which has caused a great shock. In tamil Nadu, the fact that rural students who want to join the army can succeed in the exam only if they have sufficient knowledge of english has caused dissatisfaction to many.
