The telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) is effectively utilising auspicious muhurtams for weddings and other celebrations in May to enhance the inflows into its coffers. Due to the lack of planned events in April, the corporation's average daily income for the month fell to a low of around Rs 11.50 crore. The firm, which has been working hard to become a successful asset, was shocked by this revenue.
However, using a multi-pronged approach, the TSRTC has developed enticing incentives to draw in residents, such as enticing them with cheap bus rentals, customised buses to various areas, and other programmes with a specific focus on generating the most income. The rtc income have increased to between Rs 15.50 crore and Rs 16 crore per day since the beginning of May, suggesting that the policy is producing the expected outcomes.

The positive developments also resulted in 45 of the 96 bus terminals around the State turning a profit. Even the occupancy rate (OR) increased to almost 75%. According to officials, occupancy and income are likely to significantly improve with the wedding season and summer vacation. An official stated that efforts "will continue to maintain the occupancy ratio during the monsoon season too."
