The opposition tdp is prepared for its two-day annual Mahanadu, which will begin on May 27 in Rajamahendravaram, Andhra Pradesh. The party's second Mahanadu would take place at Rajamahendravaram. The first Mahanadu was conducted in 1993, and in the succeeding elections held in 1994, the party returned to power. Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy, kambhampati Rammohan Rao, and the youth organizer Chintakayala Ajay, all senior party figures, went through the preparations being made at the site for the two-day event.

Discussions on the first day will center on the shortcomings of the current administration, its populist policies, and the steps that the tdp would need to take to overthrow it. The second day will be devoted to the resolutions and the May 28 ceremonies honoring the 100th birthday of N T Rama Rao, the party's founder and former chief minister. On Friday, the party's politburo met at Rajamahendravaram. The politburo meeting was presided over by party leader and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. The Mahanadu must be a success, the politburo meeting urged the party's membership. The two-day Mahandu, which starts on Saturday, was given the go-ahead during the politburo meeting.

The party would have a public forum and delegate meeting on May 28. The party will probably provide a draught of their platform for the general election in 2024. 20 resolutions are anticipated to be adopted at the summit, 14 of which will likely be connected to andhra pradesh and the remaining 16 to telangana and the nation as a whole. For the Mahanadu site, where the party will hold discussions and have delegates assemble, the party officials had prepared 60 acres of open terrain. The parking and food stands were prepared on an additional 150 acres of open area.
