While inaugurating the new building of the government First Class Women's college near the flyover on the outskirts of Chikkaballapur city on Friday, he said that the work of the government First Class Women's college had been stalled for many years due to many complications and reasons. He said that this building, which is essential for the district center, has been constructed to overcome all those complications. Rs.5 lakhs have already been sanctioned for the development of basic facilities of this college and around 20 computers have been supplied. More computers will be supplied in a few days. He said that steps will be taken to arrange a vehicle system according to the timings of the college so that students can come and go to the college.

NAC committee is visiting the college on 23rd of this month to review the infrastructure and learning processes. In this context, the procedures were quickly completed and the college was inaugurated today after obtaining all the permissions from the government. He told the students to make good use of this college and create a better future, and told the teaching staff to make good use of the existing facilities and do good teaching work and provide good service.

Ropeway to the hill station: A meeting of officials was held at a high level recently regarding the construction of a ropeway to the world famous Nandi hill station.
