Another leader, former mp G vivek Venkatswamy, is planning to depart the bjp in the State, continuing the flight of party leaders from the state. According to sources, he will probably enter the congress by the end of this month. A Chandrasekhar, a former minister and prominent bjp figure, left the party on august 13 while Koneru Satyanarayana (Chinni), the party's president for the Kothagudem-Bhadradri district, left the party four days earlier.

As the assembly elections approach, there is also speculation that a few other politicians, including former Chevella mp Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, former Munugode mla Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, and former minister DK Aruna, may switch their allegiances from the bjp to the Congress. Venkatswamy has recently kept a low profile and avoided participating in party activities. According to reports, he was not returning calls from important leaders. He missed prime minister Narendra Modi's public event in warangal last month, which led to allegations that he was dissatisfied with the bjp and would soon leave the party.

Even though bjp national president jp nadda made an effort to calm him down, the senior politician was not persuaded by the party leader's assurances and is reportedly go on with his plan. According to rumours in the party, vivek is eager to run for office in his former lok sabha district of peddapalli and is attempting to nominate his son for the Dharmapuri assembly seat.

Vivek left the congress in 2013 to join the trs (now the BRS), but he soon joined it again before the 2014 elections. He did, however, lose the election to trs candidate Balka Suman. He returned to trs in 2016 but left the group in 2019 as he was unable to get a ticket. Following that, he joined the bjp, where he now remains with intentions to switch allegiances once more.
