As per report a survey has revealed that 80 percent of indians favor prime minister Modi. Eight out of ten indians, or 80 percent, have a favorable view of prime minister Narendra Modi, and most of them say India's influence globally has strengthened in recent years, according to a Pew Research Center report. The survey revealed that out of 80 percent of people who have a positive view of prime minister Modi, who has been in power since 2014, 55 percent have expressed a very favorable opinion and they want prime minister Modi to rule for the third time in the 2024 general elections.


Meanwhile according to Pew, the survey was conducted on 2,611 indians between march 25 and May 11. The results of this study were published yesterday on the occasion of the G20 summit to be held in delhi next month. Among them, only one-fifth have a negative view of prime minister Modi. "Governing party supporters in the national democratic alliance say India's influence is increasing," the Pew report said. The report also revealed that men are more likely than women to believe that india is becoming stronger on the global stage. Seven out of ten indians said that the country's influence has been getting stronger in recent years, while a fifth think india is getting weaker under Modi's leadership, the survey found.

This makes india the only middle-income country with a majority of people who hold unfavorable views of china, the report said. Whereas, indians see America and russia as strong global influencers.
