The war of words between punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann and senior Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh
Majithia is now increasing. Allegations were made on behalf of Bikram Majithia of recruiting the youth of
Haryana in Sub-Inspector recruitment. On which cm Mann retaliated and gave an open challenge to Bikram Singh
Majithia as well as punjab Congress chief amarinder singh Raja Wadding that if he passes the punjabi paper with
only 45 percent marks instead of 50 percent marks, then I will agree to him. . Now Bikram Singh Majithia has
reacted to this statement of cm Mann.
‘Running a state is not a comedy circus’
Senior Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia tweeted that Punjabis are very surprised that a person who left
college midway is giving knowledge to others. Bhagwant Mann, Punjabis had rejected you in 2022 because they
did not believe that you would prove to be the most useless chief minister of the state. Chief Ministers may be
very good at comedy circus but running a state is not a comedy circus.
Why did the controversy arise?
Actually, 560 sub inspectors have been recruited in punjab Police. The allegation of recruiting people from
Haryana in this recruitment was made by senior Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia. On Saturday,
appointment letters were handed over to 560 sub-inspectors. During this, while addressing the program, CM
Mann, while replying to Majithia's allegation, said that anyone can give the paper for police recruitment, but as per
the rules, he has to clear the paper of punjabi subject. It is necessary for him to have punjab in 10th. Only those
people have participated in this recruitment who have cleared the punjabi paper. All the youth from haryana and
Rajasthan who have participated in this recruitment either live in punjab and their ancestral home is in haryana or
Rajasthan. Those who have been recruited are also from punjabi families.
