The school is in Serilingampallyand, and there have been numerous reports of failures to maintain the kitchen properly.

The ghmc employees noticed that the dosa-making equipment was composed of caustic material and was difficult to clean when they observed the cooking area. In addition, the kitchen's floor was hazardous due to oil spills in the frying area. Additionally, the oil in the kitchen was dark in colour because it had not been changed or cleaned in a while. The investigation stated that the wrapping materials "coming in contact with the food were not of food grade."

Water pooling along the margins of the kitchen floor was another discovery made by the inspection crew. They claimed that the trash cans in the kitchen and canteen area lacked covers. The trifle dessert and idly batter discovered in the cold storage lacked a date of preparation and use by date. The ghmc team also found that the dishes used to serve meals to children were where the workers' clothes were stored to dry. A show-cause notice will be delivered to the management for the infractions of safety standards since the staff members handling food in the kitchen did not have medical certifications granted to them.
