
During the monsoon session of himachal pradesh Assembly, deputy chief minister Mukesh
Agnihotri released a white paper alleging financial mismanagement during the previous BJP
government. mukesh Agnihotri told the house that there was massive misuse of government funds
during the previous bjp government. The deputy chief minister said in the house that BJP
misused money a lot in the last year to win the elections. On Sunday, leader of Opposition jai Ram
Thakur retaliated on this. He said that before coming to power, congress told the lie of 10
guarantees to the public and now after coming to power, it is spreading the lie of the White Paper.
He said that this is just a bundle of lies and nothing else.
Jairam Thakur termed this white paper as a fake paper. He said, "It has become difficult for the
congress to get rid of its 10 guarantees. In such a situation, such things are being said now. He said
that the bjp completely rejects this white paper. If the bjp government continues for five years and
If there were any financial irregularities, it would have been mentioned in the audit records. He said
that during the bjp government, government expenditure was also controlled. Neither chief
parliamentary secretaries nor advisors were appointed like the congress government.
Questions raised on mukesh Agnihotri
The leader of Opposition said that when congress left power in 2017, they did not even give a no
due certificate. At that time himachal pradesh had a debt of Rs 69 thousand 622 crore. When BJP
came to power, a new loan had to be taken to repay the debt of the previous government. He said
that the present government has also taken a loan of eight thousand crore rupees in just nine
months. The previous government also left a debt of Rs 48 thousand crores on BJP. leader of
Opposition jai ram thakur said that prime minister Narendra Modi was invited to the state for the
Global Investors Meet. Himachal also got help of Rs 10 crore from the Centre. Ground breaking
worth Rs 13 thousand crore took place in Shimla. Apart from this, ground breaking worth Rs 28
thousand crore was also done in Mandi. When mukesh Agnihotri was the industries Minister in the
then Virbhadra government, he could not do even a single ground breaking.
