The family of late poet Alishetty Prabhakar, well known as telangana Sri Sri, was given a two-bedroom residence in hyderabad by the state government. Orders granting Bhagyamma, Prabhakar's wife, an apartment in Jiyaguda in Asif Nagar, hyderabad, were issued on Friday.

Prabhakar was a well-known poet who spoke out for the voices of the oppressed and was from the Jagitial area, which was a part of the former karimnagar district. He dedicated his life to creating works of art, including paintings, photographs, and poems, all of which had a profound emotional impact on the public.

In order to confront society conventions and concerns, including as poverty, women's rights, rural-urban gaps, and societal injustices, Prabhakar, a courageous fighter for social justice, wrote poetry that was loaded with incisive critique and compassionate satire. He became a selfless ally for the oppressed because of his dedication to art and social problems.

When the late poet's family was experiencing difficulties, chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao acted quickly to offer assistance. KT Rama Rao, minister of municipal administration, quickly arranged for the allocation of a two-bedroom flat to Prabhakar's family. Alishetty Prabhakar's wife Bhagyamma, sons Sangram and Sanket, and other family members expressed gratitude to minister Rama Rao and chief minister Chandrashekhar Rao for honouring Prabhakar's efforts as a poet and supporting them through trying times.
