Big news has come for the farmers of Maharashtra. The first installment of Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Yojana
has been approved. The first installment of two thousand rupees will soon come into the accounts of the farmers.
The government has approved a fund of Rs 1,720 crore for this scheme. With this decision of the state
government, every eligible farmer will get Rs 6,000 per year from the state government. The amount will be
deposited in the accounts of farmers in the first week for the period from april to July 2023. Central and state
governments together will get a total of Rs 12,000 per year. deputy chief minister devendra fadnavis made this
announcement while presenting the economic resolution.

This decision has been taken in the cabinet meeting held today. The first installment for the period from April
2023 to june 2023 has been approved by the State Cabinet. Therefore, now the money will soon be deposited in
the accounts of the farmers. The government has approved a fund of Rs 1,720 crore for this. Deputy Chief
minister and State Finance minister devendra fadnavis had announced this scheme in this year’s budget.
Farmers of the state will benefit from this scheme.
What is this plan?
1- According to this scheme, maharashtra government will deposit Rs 6,000 per year in the accounts of eligible
farmers.
2- Every three months, two thousand rupees are deposited in the accounts of farmers by the Central Government.
3- Similarly, now the state government will also deposit two thousand rupees in the accounts of farmers every
three months.
4- According to this, a total of Rs 12,000 will be deposited in the farmer's account including Rs 6,000 from the
Center and Rs 6,000 from the maharashtra Government.
