Samajwadi party (SP) chief akhilesh yadav on sunday claimed that congress had stopped the implementation

of caste census and Mandal Commission recommendations in the past and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party

(BJP) was also adopting a similar stand today.

said that congress and bjp are talking about caste census and reservation to woo PDA i.e. backward classes,

Dalits and tribals in the elections. Because both the parties have realized the strength of these sections. He said,

If any party has stopped (implementation) of the recommendations of Caste Census and Mandal Commission in

the country, then it is Congress. Now bjp is also moving on the same path. Akhilesh said, See the miracle of

the issue of caste census that has been raised that now congress is saying that caste census should be conducted.

At the same time, bjp, which has been against reservation for backward classes, is also talking about caste

census today. elections have come, so both the parties have understood the power of PDA.

Resolution of “Socialist Pension” Scheme

Quoting the party's manifesto released for the madhya pradesh assembly elections, the SP chief said that his

party will support the caste census, 27 percent reservation for Other backward classes (OBC) and Madhya

Pradesh government's Laadli Behna scheme for women. Expresses resolve for a better “socialist pension”

scheme. He said that under the “Socialist Pension” scheme, an assistance amount of Rs 3,000 will be provided

every month to the beneficiaries. Criticizing the narendra modi government at the Centre, Akhilesh claimed

assistance for making supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.

The former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh questioned whether the government which makes such half-baked

provisions for the soldiers, can be called “nationalist”? He alleged that in madhya pradesh, women face the

highest atrocities in the country, while the situation of oppression of Dalits and tribals is also serious.
