Citizens for Citizens has condemned the attitude of the South Western Railway sector, which has rejected the proposal of preparing a pre-feasibility report on connecting the suburban railway project to neighboring districts and cities.  The Citizens for Citizens (C4C) organization has condemned the attitude of the South Western Railway sector for rejecting the proposal to prepare a pre-feasibility report on connecting the suburban railway project to neighboring districts and cities and has written to the Railway Board asking them to agree to the proposal.

It is not right for the South Western Railway to interfere with the suburban railway project which aims to connect the Bangalore metropolis and neighboring districts. Also South Western Railway is not making adequate use of MEMU trains to provide local connectivity. The MEMU train running up to Devanahalli runs empty. However, even though it is electrified, it is not being driven up to Chikkaballapur. Although thousands of students and farmers coming towards Bangalore will benefit from this, the South Western Railway is neglecting not to expand it. Trains are not running from Dandu railway station to Heilali.

In such a situation, the organization Citizens for Citizens has expressed its displeasure that the South Western Railway did not agree to the work that K raid (Karnataka Railway Infrastructure Company) was going to do for the development of the local railway line. South Western Railway's contention about the scheme is incorrect, local trains will run at 120-130 km when there is only one station every 2-3 km. Can't drive fast. After all, even the fastest trains of South Western Railway are not running at that speed.

Therefore, Rajkumar Dugar of Citizens for Citizens has demanded that the railway board reject the argument of South Western Railway and directly respond to K-Ride's request and allow the pre-feasibility report to be studied.
