A meeting of the collegium bench of Justice sanjeev Khanna and Justice BR Gavai was held under the chairmanship of supreme court Chief Justice DY Chandrachud. In this meeting, it has been recommended to make two judges of rajasthan high court as Chief Justice and to appoint Chief Justice for rajasthan High Court.
The supreme court Collegium has recommended acting Chief Justice of rajasthan high court MM Srivastava to be made the Chief Justice of rajasthan High Court. Apart from this, in the collegium meeting, senior Justice of rajasthan high court Vijay Bishnoi has been recommended to be made the Senior Chief Justice of guwahati high court, while Justice Arun Bhansali has been recommended to be made the Chief Justice of allahabad High Court.
Vijay Bishnoi gave important decisions as a judge
Justice sanjeev Khanna and Justice BR Gavai have held a meeting in the collegium headed by supreme court Chief Justice DY Chandrachud. There is a possibility that warrants for appointment may soon be issued by the Central Government. Senior Justice Vijay Bishnoi of rajasthan high court has been working as a judge here since january 8, 2013. During his 11 years of service, he has given many important decisions while working as a judge in rajasthan High Court. During this period, 652 reportable judgments have been given by Justice Vijay Bishnoi.
Recommendation to make Justice Arun Bhansali CJ
Senior Justice Arun Bhansali was appointed to the post of Justice in rajasthan high court from 12 january 2013. Justice Arun Bhansali gave many important decisions during his 11-year tenure as visiting judge in the high court and during this period he gave 1230 reportable judgments. In such a situation, the supreme court Collegium has recommended sending him to the post of Chief Justice in the country's largest allahabad High Court.
