Sanwaliya temple Board President Bherulal gurjar said that after the Rajbhog Aarti, the storeroom of Lord Sanwaliya Seth temple was opened, the counting of which was done amidst tight security. The stock was counted in the presence of temple board members Shrilal Patidar, Bherulal Soni, ashok Sharma, Sanjay Mandowra, Shambhu Lal Suthar and Mamtesh Sharma. Rs 6 crore 21 lakh 70 thousand were counted on the first day. Even after this, a large quantity of notes and coins are yet to be counted and the gold and silver taken out from the central repository is yet to be weighed. Besides, the calculation of income received in the office and online amount is also yet to be done. The balance amount of the reserves will be calculated on 12th january after Amavasya.

Donated US dollars

Bherulal gurjar told that on the occasion of Chaturdashi, priest Kamlesh and Govind Vaishnav bathed Lord Sawariya Seth with ganga water and adorned him in a special outfit made of 200 rupee notes. Thousands of devotees arrived throughout the day and stood in long queues to have darshan of the Lord. Foreign rupees have also been found in the reserves calculation. 100 American notes were also found in donation. Mahaprasadi will also be organized at Devaki Sadan Dharamshala this evening.
