Aam Aadmi party (AAP) national convenor and delhi Chief minister arvind kejriwal said that talks with congress for an alliance in the national capital for the lok sabha elections are in the final stages and the alliance will be announced soon. While answering the questions of journalists, kejriwal rejected the possibility of the party reconsidering the decision of AAP to contest the general elections alone in Punjab. AAP and congress are part of the opposition Alliance india and are discussing the seat-sharing formula in delhi and other states.

'Talks in final stage'

When asked about the possibilities of AAP's alliance with congress in delhi, kejriwal said that several rounds of discussions have taken place and things are in the final stages. He said, "The announcement of alliance with them (Congress) will be made very soon." He told reporters that several rounds of discussions have taken place for other states also and the talks are in the final stages.

Alliance could not be formed in Uttar Pradesh

It is noteworthy that this statement of arvind kejriwal has come at a time when talks on alliance between congress and Samajwadi party in Uttar Pradesh have not been finalized. Actually, SP had offered 17 seats to congress, whereas congress was demanding 20 seats. Due to this, no agreement could be reached between the two parties on seat sharing.

SP released the third list

Meanwhile, SP made it clear that now it will not hold any further talks on seat sharing. Now congress has to take a decision in this matter. Not only this, Samajwadi party also released its third list of candidates for the lok sabha elections. Candidates have been announced for five seats in this list. The party has given tickets to Iqra from Kairana, Shivpal Yadav from Badaun, praveen Singh Aron from Bareilly, Ajendra Singh Rajput from hamirpur and Surendra Singh patel from Varanasi.
