In the last parliamentary elections, the DMK was in alliance with the DMK and won on the Udayasuriyan symbol. But this time they have announced that they will put it on their symbol Bambaram or independence symbol.
In this situation, it has come to light that there was a conflict between DMK and Madhyamik during the candidate introduction meeting for the Trichy lok sabha constituency the day before yesterday. DMK officials are telling Durai vaiko that if he contests under the Udayasuriyan symbol, his chances of winning will be better. But they have made it clear that they will compete on their logo and not on the Udayasuriyan logo. Durai vaiko said that even if the candidate dies in the introductory meeting, the contest is on our symbol and not on the Udayasuriyan symbol. Ministers KN Nehru and Anbil Mahesh who were sitting on the stage were displeased with this.

The DMK councilors and administrators who were sitting in the meeting then firmly said that they would not work for election to Durai Vaiko. Following this, when Durai vaiko came to file nominations yesterday, Trichy area ministers KN Nehru and Anbil Mahesh did not come. DMK also did not attend the nomination filing event. It is said that the Tiruchi DMK did not work for the election as they were dissatisfied with Durai Vaiko.
In this situation, Durai vaiko, who answered the question regarding the ministers not coming to file the nominations, said that before coming to file the petitions, I came after seeing minister KN Nehru. I went to his house. He treated me like a son. He came to the door and sent me away. He treats me as his son. He had questioned what could be the problem between us.
Also, Arun Nehru, son of minister KN Nehru, is contesting in Perambalur constituency. The election work is slow as DMK has gone from Trichy to carry out election work for that constituency.
