Extra work for alliance candidates: EPS for AIADMK Advice

AIADMK general secretary Edappadi Palaniswami has insisted that AIADMK workers should work more for the candidates of the allied parties than for their party candidates.
Polling for the parliamentary elections in tamil Nadu is scheduled to take place on april 19. Nominations are over and political parties are busy campaigning. In that way, AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswami participated in the public meeting held in sivakasi and engaged in election campaigning for the candidate of AIADMK and alliance parties.
DMK candidate contesting from Virudhunagar lok sabha seat V. Edappadi Palanichami, who gathered votes in support of Vijaya Prabhakaran, criticized the DMK only without criticizing the ruling bjp at the center.
"Sivakasi is known for its firecrackers. The firecracker industry is in a bad state today. The AIADMK government went all the way to the supreme court and fought to protect the firecracker industry. If the DMK had put pressure on the central government with 38 members of parliament, the firecracker industry would have been protected. This time we will win and bring an amendment to protect the firecracker industry. We will apply pressure," he assured.
"The firecracker industry is collapsing. Then stalin asks if you are fine. Who can be fine with the DMK rule? When you complained about us in AIADMK rule, the governor was good to you, now he is bad?" Edappadi Palaniswami also questioned.
Eulogizing both mgr and jayalalithaa as God's gift to tamil Nadu, EPS advised the AIADMK workers to work harder than the alliance candidates to collect votes.
"DMK has never had a history of keeping its allies alive. AIADMK will lift allies. In the DMK general committee meeting, stalin laments that DMK ministers have lost sleep," he said.
"After saying that we will increase the amount of assistance for the Thali gold scheme, today the DMK government has stopped that scheme. The law and order meeting is laughing. There are murders, robberies, and ganja-intoxicated mutilations," he criticized.
"No matter what is available in tamil Nadu, drugs are available in abundance. Ganja is easily available in every corner. DMK neighborhood team leader has been arrested for smuggling drugs. They have a neighborhood team to smuggle drugs," EPS alleged.
"There is no sector in the DMK regime where there is no corruption. PDR Palanivel Thiagarajan, who was the Finance Minister, said that Udhayanidhi and Sabarisan have collected 30 thousand crores. We told the governor to investigate this, but he did not investigate," he complained.
"They said that they will reduce the price of gas cylinders by 100 rupees per month and the price of petrol and diesel. Did they reduce it? The reason for the increase in the price of diesel is that the central government should also reduce the price of petrol and diesel," EPS insisted.
"While our government filed a case in the high court regarding the construction of the new Chief Secretariat, today the case was withdrawn after the change of government. AIADMK will investigate this once the government is formed," he said.
