Harish Rao's letter to cm Revanth Reddy…

Former minister Harish Rao has written a letter to telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy. It is stated that due to the huge increase in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) fees, the unemployed are suffering. He criticized that ignoring the concession given to SC, ST, and disabled students is cheating the students and the unemployed. He said that the BRS party strongly condemns this. He explained that during their government's tenure, they charged only Rs.400 for writing one paper or two papers, but this year they are charging Rs.1,000 for one paper and Rs.2,000 for two papers. He said that these fees are double compared to the examinations conducted by the central government. He said that it is painful to charge the same as the general category students without giving fee concessions to the reserved students. CBSE is implementing fee concession for SCs and STs in national level CET.

In our state, fee concession is also being implemented in entrance exams like EPSET and ISET. However, it was mentioned in the letter that the telangana government is not giving concessions in Tet. BED and DAD candidates are fighting across the state to protest against the increase in Tet fees and the non-grant of fee concessions to reserved students. He said that they are moving on the road leaving the books.

There is no response from the government. Is this Indiramma's kingdom, is this your so-called public rule? congress had said in its manifesto that it would accept applications from the unemployed without charging a fee. On behalf of BRS, we are demanding the government reduce the Tet fees immediately. Former minister Harish Rao has stated in the letter that otherwise we are warning that we must fight on behalf of the students and the unemployed.
