Prakash Ambedkar's big action against VBA candidate…

The bugle of lok sabha elections has been sounded in Maharashtra. After breaking the alliance with Mahavikas Aghadi, Prakash Ambedkar has announced the names of his candidates on many seats. Shirur is one seat on this list. Now political activity is being seen on this seat. Prakash Ambedkar has canceled the candidature of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi from here. Prakash Ambedkar-led Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) made headlines on Saturday. VBA has canceled the candidature of Mangaldas Bandal. Bandal was going to contest from Shirur's seat. This decision has come after Bandal met with maharashtra Deputy chief minister devendra fadnavis in Indapur recently.

On Friday, fadnavis, along with Ajit Pawar, participated in a rally in support of Sunetra Pawar, the ncp candidate from Baramati lok sabha seat. After the rally, fadnavis went to the residence of Dashrath Mane, an industrialist and party worker. Here party sources said that during this time Mangaldas Bandal was also present there.

According to the indian Express report, a VBA spokesperson announced, Mandaldas Bandal will no longer be the VBA candidate in the Shirur constituency. He is involved in anti-party activity and has lost his candidature." Reacting to the VBA's move, Bandal expressed surprise that he came to know about the cancellation of his candidature from social media. He commented, "No senior leader of the party has personally informed me about this decision. My relations with Sonai Group chief Dashrath Mane are familiar. Both of us have previously served as Zilla Parishad members.

On the controversy over his conversation with fadnavis at Mane's residence, Bandal clarified, “When fadnavis went to Mane's residence, I was also present there. But it was a courtesy call…what was wrong with it? I have [absolutely] decided to contest the elections as an independent candidate, there is no need to withdraw from the election field. Meanwhile, the Sharadchandra Pawar-led nationalist congress party (NCP) has once again fielded Amol Kolhe from the Shirur seat, while the Ajit Pawar-led faction has fielded Shivajirao Adhalrao-Patil for the Shirur seat. Voting in this constituency is to be held on May 13, which is the fourth phase of the five-phase elections in Maharashtra.
