There are a total of 48 seats for lok sabha elections in Maharashtra. So far bjp has declared 24 candidates. shiv sena Shinde faction has declared 10 candidates. Ajit Pawar's ncp has declared 5 candidates. A total of 39 nda candidates have been declared. Now candidates are yet to be declared on 9 seats.
Will bjp field candidates on these seats?
According to sources, it is considered certain that bjp will contest on these seats, among them candidates are yet to be declared for Sindhudurg-Ratnagiri, South mumbai, North Central mumbai, Palghar, and Satara. Eknath Shinde's shiv sena can declare candidates in Thane, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), mumbai North West. Ajit Pawar's ncp faction has got 6 seats in Maharashtra. He has also got one seat from Lakshadweep. Baramati, Shirur, Raigarh, Dharashiv, Parbhani (two seats from ncp ajit pawar party's quota supported Rashtriya Samaj Party) and lakshadweep seats have also been given to ajit pawar faction.
Is there a screw stuck on these seats?
The issue is still stuck between the bjp and shiv sena on the Ratnagiri-Sindudurg seat and, the shiv sena and ncp Ajit faction on the Nashik seat. The candidate is yet to be declared here. raj Thackeray's party will support the grand alliance of MNS in the lok sabha elections without any participation.
Who fielded how many candidates in MVA?
Now if we talk about Mahavikas Aghadi, congress has declared candidates for 13 seats, uddhav faction's shiv sena for 21 seats, and Sharad Pawar's ncp has declared candidates for 9 seats. So far, Mahavikas Aghadi has fielded candidates for a total of 43 seats. Candidates for the remaining 5 seats will also be declared by MVA soon. Candidates are yet to be declared for four seats of the congress quota. This includes North mumbai, North Central mumbai, Dhule, and Jalna seats. sharad pawar is yet to be declared NCP's candidate for Madha seat.
