Gurugram police of haryana succeeded in exposing a big gang of cyber thugs. police have indicated to crack down on crime by recovering Rs 1 crore 32 lakh from the clutches of the gang. In fact, on february 3, 2024, a person made a complaint at the Cyber Crime east police Station, Gurugram, saying that he was tempted to invest in the stock market through WhatsApp. By luring more profits, he cheated Rs 1 crore 32 lakh.

Seven including two employees of Yes bank arrested

Based on the complaint of the victim, a case was registered in Cyber Crime east Gurugram police station. A police team was formed under the supervision of cyber crime inspector Savit Kumar and head constable sandeep Kumar. The team achieved great success in arresting 7 accused including two employees of Yes bank in this case. The accused were identified as Pinky, Vikas resident of Sultanpuri Delhi, Prakash resident of Bawana Delhi, dharmendra and deepak resident of rohini Delhi, Suraj resident of faridabad and pooja resident of Jain nagar Delhi.

The victim expressed gratitude to the police

The amount of approximately Rs 1 crore 32 lakh that was defrauded from the complainant by the police team was returned to the victim at the office of Assistant police Commissioner Priyanshu Diwan on Thursday.
