It will intensify into a severe storm and make landfall over bangladesh by midnight tonight. Ground winds are expected to gust between 110 and 120 kilometers per hour as the storm makes landfall.

Due to the impact of this storm, there is less chance of rain in tamil Nadu. The impact of heat is likely to increase in the coming days. Similarly, as far as chennai is concerned, the sky will be partly cloudy today. Few parts of the city are likely to receive light to moderate rain. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature is likely to be around 39-40 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is likely to be around 29-30 degrees Celsius.
