Desai, an ex-Labour mp and economist, also stated india must reply "surely forcefully" to ensure the culprits are punished and such acts in no way recur. He said that the pahalgam terror assault became "an incredibly merciless one."
"I think the only way to remedy the kashmir problem now could be for india to move and take PoK over. We have the accession letter of the king. So it belongs to us," Desai, who's in New Delhi, advised information corporation ANI on Tuesday.
Desai, who is a member of the UK Parliament's house of Lords,

"I'm hoping the government of india honestly takes a totally stern response to it and makes it quite clear that if this goes on, india will need to take over Pakistan-occupied kashmir," he introduced.

"I'm hoping that that's what the prime minister became telling us all, that he intends to remedy the trouble once and for all," Desai informed ANI.
"PM Modi has stated, pretty rightly, that it is an exceptionally cruel assault. india has to react virtually forcefully and notice that now not only are the perpetrators punished, but also that it in no way takes place again," he told news organization PTI.
