congress mp from Katihar, Tariq Anwar, on friday took a dig at BJP's Tiranga Yatra. He has accused the bjp of taking credit for the bravery of the army. The congress mp said that the bjp gives a political color to everything.
Tariq Anwar's taunt on PM Modi
Katihar mp and senior congress leader Tariq Anwar, commenting on the BJP's Tiranga yatra regarding the valor and bravery of the army, said, "The bharatiya janata party wants to cash in on everything, the credit that should go to the country's army, prime minister Narendra Modi and his government want to take that too."
The mp said that they had done the same thing last time in 2019 as well. Modi and the bharatiya janata party work to give a political color to everything, which is extremely unfortunate. He further said, "In the atmosphere that was created in the country after the pahalgam attack, all the political parties and the general public unitedly supported the government. Now is the time that the government should rise above politics and avoid taking only the credit and give full respect and credit to the army."
At the same time, he criticized the government for stopping rahul gandhi in Darbhanga. He said that rahul gandhi wanted to communicate with Dalits and backward classes, but he was stopped.
At the same time, congress mp Tariq Anwar made it clear that the views of a senior leader like p. chidambaram should not be unnecessarily turned into a controversy. He said that this statement has not been given as criticism but in the spirit of introspection, which should be considered a part of the democratic structure of the party.
'Mahagathbandhan in bihar is fully organized'
The congress mp expressed confidence that the Mahagathbandhan in bihar is fully organized, active and with the public. He claimed that in the upcoming assembly elections, the public will vote on issues like inflation, unemployment and social inequality. He said that in this wave of change, the victory of the grand alliance is certain.
