Talking to news agency ANI, Tariq Hamid Karra said, "BJP has put up huge hoardings in which security personnel look small and the faces of bjp leaders are big. Looking at the size of the picture of the soldiers, it seems as if they are being portrayed as insignificant. If this is not politicisation then what is it?"
On the other hand, Tariq Hamid Karra further said, "We have seen devastation, whether it is Poonch or Rajouri... We went to both the districts. Similarly, we went to Jammu, went to the zero line post of Samba, went to temples, mosques, Gurudwaras and saw the devastation caused by the firing on the border. First 26 people were killed in Pahalgam, then 15 people were killed in Poonch. The most heartbreaking story among these was of those twin children, they were completely safe inside the house, when they came out, a shell fell on them and they were killed."
'BJP is engaged in politicizing'- Tariq Karra
JKPCC Chief Karra said, "At this time the whole nation is in grief and on top of that bjp is politicizing it. This is like rubbing salt on the wounds. The opposition leadership, rahul gandhi and mallikarjun Kharge had said that we stand with the country at this time. We will not politicize this issue and today when we are standing in the battlefield. In any war, we are the first to be killed. Despite this, we are following our leadership and are not asking any questions, but on the other hand, bjp is busy politicizing it."
'Army's operation was hijacked by BJP' - Hamid Karra
Taking a dig at bjp, Tariq Hamid Karra said, "Operation Sindoor, in which every belt force including indian Navy, army and air Force, BSF, CRPF, CISF has contributed, was hijacked and 'Tiranga Yatra' was carried out and by using the name of the security forces' operation, they are doing things for their own benefit."
