Before the assembly elections in Bihar, the bharatiya janata party has suffered a setback. The party's media panelist Asit Nath Tiwari resigned on monday (02 June, 2025). He targeted state president dilip Jaiswal and announced his resignation on a facebook post. He has also given the reason for the resignation. Asit Nath Tiwari had come to bjp from Congress.

Asit Nath Tiwari has written in his facebook post, "Respected dilip Jaiswal ji, your attitude in the cases of increased crime incidents in recent times and then the rape victim girl who was torn from top to bottom with a sharp weapon in PMCH was surprising. The victims of criminal incidents are not VIPs like you, what do you have to do with the pain of the common man. You got upset as soon as I raised questions on the working style of the police." '…So you got angry'

Further in the post, he writes, "The rape victim kept writhing in pain in the ambulance in PMCH campus, who was torn in several places by the rapist with a sharp weapon, she did not get a bed. When I raised my voice against this, you got angry. You did not get angry at the rapist, you did not get angry at the careless and corrupt hospital administration. Isn't it amazing!"

Asit Nath Tiwari further said through the post, "I am not Dr. Sanjay jaiswal who will delete the post in one go and run away. I cannot put personal interests above human dignity. It is no longer possible for me to walk with you. You gave me an opportunity as a spokesperson in the party, I am grateful to you for that… And with this gratitude, please accept my resignation, Namaskar. Asit Nath Tiwari."
