congress mp Rahul gandhi, who arrived in bihar on a day-long visit, while addressing the 'Samvidhan Suraksha Sammelan' organized in Rajgir on friday (June 06, 2025), called bihar the 'Crime capital of India'. Rahul gandhi said that the old definition of bihar was truth, justice and non-violence. The new definition of the 21st century is, 'Crime capital of india - Bihar'.
Rahul gandhi further said, "Look where you have reached from today. Today there is talk of Japan, Korea, China, but where did their way of thinking come from... you people gave that. The thinking from bihar went to Kuwait, Sri Lanka, Korea, Japan, Korea... so this is the meaning of Bihar."
'... because there is no employment here'
The congress leader said that not you people but your government forgot all this. In big words, bihar has been made the crime capital. This is the change we know. He told the people that you showed the way not just to Hindustan but to the whole world. You used to have a university in Nalanda. people from all over the world used to come here. Today your people go to every state in bihar and all over the world because there is no employment here.
Rahul gandhi said that 90 percent of the people do not have participation in what we call India. He said that you can look at any sector. There are 500 biggest companies, there is less representation of extremely backward, backward and Dalits. Their loans worth lakhs of crores are waived. They are also given facilities by making laws in the budget, but there is no CEO from Dalit, tribal or backward class anywhere in these. He said that leave aside the CEO, you will not find anyone even in the management team.
Rahul gandhi said that earlier there were government hospitals, now there are private hospitals. Earlier the government used to get you treated and now you have to pay lakhs of rupees to get treatment. The government gives land to private hospitals. Whose land does it give? It gives your land. Get a list of private hospitals, get a list of doctors and show me the tribal names, Dalit names, backward names in it.
